R/C Airplanes
That is true. Someday when I have a nice enough bank account where a few hundred dollars isn't TOO much, I will purchase myself the components and fly a badass plane around :D

Where did you get your engine/radio equipment or can you just post the model that you bought? I really want to try and make one of these but when searching for radio equipment they are all WAY bigger than what you have. I am really interested in t…

Cocoa Frameworks
Depends on what you're doing to be honest. Theres a list on some website that has a lot of Frameworks, but I can't seem to remember. Look up the Scripting Bridge. Thats pretty fun to tinker with.

Common 'first time' free mac apps
@CallumJ I would've wrote both of them as well, but I figured since he said no development I didn't put those (plus Xcode is on the system to begin with/the install disk).

I would say the thing about Macs are they're already there. Safari works amazingly well, and Firefox is too complicated on the Mac. Mail works well too. iChat is okay, Adium works nice too except without video, not sure if thats necessary th…

No 3G?! :( I used one during school today. A few kids have them, and they're fun to mess around on. I wouldn't care to have one, just play with it occasionally. I prefer my MacBook Pro.

@waheed, but native applications are so much nicer! Is it just a hardcoded application with no way to port besides Wine?

We're not supposed to? And 5 wasn't bad. 6 sucked agreed haha. I didn't get to 3 because i spent too much time doing 1 and 2. The first multiple choice wasn't bad. I didn't get the last 4 on the other one though. Damn …

Oh darn, Windows application. Any thought of making a standardized library that does all the back end? Perhaps Alex Gordon/I/any other Cocoa programmers could try and make a Mac version of Nucleus.

If we have that new layout coming in, I think we'd be set for a while? If that's not working, maybe just finding a nice one thats free and modifying parts?

iPhone 4G/HD 'revealed'
@Mike, I don't know, I feel it too closely resembles a PSP. Maybe if it was more rounded on the edges or something. I actually really like the design now that I look at it.

I actually hate that design. The other design (3G) is much more along the lines of Apple-like. Hopefully this is a really early prototype without the right casing. It does say XXGB on the back, probably showing its just an arbitrary casing. We c…
