CI Setup
Cool! I'm going to definitely have to check this out. I've been doing some messing around with CI recently for a little project I'm working on.

@kreitje my solution to that problem is to make G+ a pinned tab in Chrome :P Mostly, though, I treat G+ as a source of content from people that I actually want to hear from. Facebook is just a way for me to connect w/ other people.

Well, I guess I'll be using CodeIgniter then! Already got a little test site up, so hopefully it'll work out. Now to get to the planning! I'll definitely check out Sparks, and probably use one or two.

cpf, I think you can create standard Google Account from your Apps account. It won't integrate w/ Apps, but at least you can use it!

I'm liking G+ too, though I haven't used it a whole lot. It seems that G+ remembers the last circle that I posted to, even through a refresh. I really like the circles concept, and agree that it's much easier to grasp than the group…

Oops, didn't realized you had responded so I deleted my post. I think I got it figured out. I kept reading that IB automatically added classes, but I found out how to add it and got it working. I was following the tutorial at http://www.cocoad…

[offtopic]Visual Baisc!?! Why submit yourself to such hell? C# FTW! Jk, kinda, I had to learn VB for my job. But I converted the ASP.NET site to C# as soon as I could![/offtopic]

Why is Java so irritating (and popular)?
the first line (and really the only line) has to be this(param1,...), which is counter intuitive by all means Not sure about this part, but... You can have multiple methods of the same name so long as the number of parameters are not the same. Th…

Why is Java so irritating (and popular)?
I have been wondering the same thing as I learn Java for my Computer Science class! IMHO, I think that instant portability is the main reason for its popularity. Any machine that the JVM will run on will run your code, plain and simple. Even thoug…

@kreitje You mentioned earlier that you made the RC plane from a plan in a PDF. Do you still have those PDFs, or a link to where you found them?

I heard the story NPR did on it while I was driving somewhere on Monday (I think), and didn't pay much attention to it. But it's pretty crazy that they're actually still around, and that someone would pay money for this obvious dough …

For some reason I had to clear the cache in chrome on my computer to be able to login, but on another computer chrome had no problems... Also, it looks like signatures didn't carry over, not like it's a real problem.

I don't know for a fact, but I think it's for checking the amount of overscan, or making sure that overscan is even along all edges.

Why Security Essentials?
So, if we're going to be picky then Windows does (and has since Win2k I think) have a way to stop most "remote-code" attacks. Data Execution Prevention is a feature of the windows kernel that will instantly terminate and process (and …

Interesting... Anyway, it's always been my experience that fighting w/ permissions in Windows is like trying to teach a dog/cat to let itself out. (Or possibly teaching a fire to put itself out)
