.co domain
  • Today local domain seller (I mean the main Lithuanian domain seller) has sent emails to all customers suggesting to buy 2nd level .co domains which refers to Columbia. It looks like why should Lithuanians be so interested into it but... They also mention that .co can refer to English word "company", as well. Well, that's logical, I guess.

So, what do you think of such use of .co domain? Is it worth using it so and etc..?
  • Anything out of the top 3 com/net/org is taking a risk. It will show up in search engines, however at the end of the day most people will try .com. Without a search engine you would probably run into some trouble using .co.

I think it would work good for a secondary website but not the main one.
