Yesterday I was tinkering around with Cocoa to get more familiar with it. While playing around I came across Sparkle and was quite impressed. To "detect", download, and install updates is amazingly simple.
The JSON framework seems to work pretty good. It seems like JSON is much easier to loop through than XML.
Are there any other good ones a n00b should take a look at? While I don't really do much desktop programming it's nice to get in there and try out the language.
Depends on what you're doing to be honest. Theres a list on some website that has a lot of Frameworks, but I can't seem to remember. Look up the Scripting Bridge. Thats pretty fun to tinker with.
