Anyone developing an OSS project?
  • Is anyone here developing an open source project in Python? I may have a little time on my hands soon and wanted something to do.

I've been developing this really lame game for a while now. I chose it because when I began, I didn't have much time and needed to do something really small and simple. Apart from a couple of things, I can't see myself adding more to that project (except for fixing bugs if any arise and maintaining the package on Debian if it all it runs into any problems).

I have some other things to do as well, but wouldn't mind putting some time into coding.
  • I'm working on a lame game too, but the code is not small and simple. :P it's taking quite a bit of time to get working, but I'm learning more Java along the way. No Python projects right now though, sorry.
EDIT: Oops, this post is a little old, hopefully not past its expiry date?
  • Not really. Just released the final (mature) version of that game yesterday (that's how little time I've had).
  • Haha. Yeah, my project is on hold during exams (luckily they don't last more than half a week). Hey, I'd love to test it by the way if you want.
  • That would be great. :) Use the Windows installer from here or the pynagram debian package from the PPA (if you're on Ubuntu) or unstable (if you're on Debian).
