    I tried to use the name 'Mike Tomasello' but it wouldn't let me (does Vanilla not like spaces? the validation seemed a bit borked, no matter what I changed it to it said it wasn't allowed, but eventually seemed to accept a name), so I'm just 'Mike'.

    Thought I'd pop in, I always had a feeling there was a need to just get rid of categories and get down to just basic people <-> people communication. Glad some(one|people) start this up as it a great step up from "the forum I used own and will not be named".

    @kreitje I meant the username 'Mike'.. back on YC I snatched it before @Mike (formerly Mike Tomasello) had the chance... I actually remember him commenting on it a few years ago. Guess it's my turn to have a full name :P

    I confess, when Vanilla wouldn't accept 'Mike Tomasello', the thought did occur to me that I'd have a chance to claim back being called just 'Mike' :p

    As ironies happen, I don't actually like my given name. And I can't stand the geometry of the initials 'MT'. Yuck.

    @CallumJ: this might sound forward, but if you're in London, how's about having a meet-up? I'm sure there are others here in the UK that might be interested too.

    I've taken a leave of absence from University, I find myself having lots of free time and very little to do.

    Mau and Kyle are busy, but both do know about the site. Hypnotic, is already a member. :) I don't know about the rest.
